Data Rights

Use the convenience export, make a formal data-rights request, or close your account.

This self-service account export is a convenience copy. It includes the account profile, age band, memberships, messages, forum posts, news and lore submissions/comments, AI voice session metadata, AI usage-ledger metadata, moderation records, and reports associated with your account. It deliberately omits some information, including exact date of birth and security secrets, and is not necessarily the complete response to a formal subject-access request.

Closing your account permanently signs you out and de-identifies the local account. We remove direct account, date-of-birth, Discord, two-factor and recent IP/location identifiers. Any active Stripe subscription is cancelled first so it cannot renew. If cancellation cannot be confirmed, the account remains open and you can submit a billing request through support.

Formal data-rights requests

Use Support and choose Formal data-rights request for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, or questions about processing. We may need proportionate identity checks and will apply applicable security safeguards and exemptions; access rights do not require us to disclose password hashes, TOTP seeds, recovery-code hashes or other secrets that would undermine security.

Use Data-protection complaintif you believe Shadow Government handled personal data or a rights request incorrectly. The tracked case records acknowledgement, updates and the substantive outcome. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Account closure cancels active subscription renewal, revokes active sessions, and de-identifies the local account. Some user content and moderation, transaction, consent, security and audit records may remain for documented accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, legal-claim and service-integrity purposes. Because those records can remain linked to a persistent internal ID, this is not represented as irreversible anonymisation.

Closing Shadow Government does not itself erase information independently controlled by Link/Stripe, Discord or another provider. For a Managed Payments purchase, use Link's account/order processes; use Discord's privacy controls for Discord-held data; and submit a formal request to Shadow Government for provider data it controls or can action as customer.
